Eye Candy is a concept eyewear brand built around the idea that glasses should be as personal as the people wearing them. The project required a full e-commerce website with product browsing for glasses, sunglasses, and contacts — anchored by a standout feature: an interactive glasses customizer where users choose their frame shape, color, and prescription type in real time.

The design balances a clean, modern aesthetic with playful personality — dusty rose backgrounds, teal accents, and a confident typographic voice that makes shopping for eyewear feel like a treat, not a chore.

Signature Feature

Design your perfect pair.

The heart of Eye Candy is the glasses customizer — an interactive tool that puts creative control in the customer's hands. Users choose between rounded and squared frame shapes, pick from six vibrant colors (teal, red, forest green, yellow, purple, and white), and see their custom glasses rendered in a large 3D-style preview. With 'Add to Cart' and 'Save' actions, the customizer turns browsing into a personal design experience.

Design Process

How we built it.

Step 1

Research

Studied competitor eyewear sites (Warby Parker, Zenni, EyeBuyDirect) to identify UX patterns for product browsing, virtual try-on, and customization flows.

Step 2

Wireframes

Mapped the full user journey from homepage to checkout, prioritizing the customizer as the hero interaction and ensuring product discovery felt effortless.

Step 3

Visual Design

Developed the Eye Candy brand identity with a dusty rose and teal palette, clean sans-serif typography, and a warm, inviting tone that makes eyewear shopping feel personal.

Step 4

Prototype

Built a fully interactive Figma prototype covering the homepage, product catalog pages, customizer with color/shape switching, prescription flow, and complete checkout experience.
